This song is my all time favourite. Sang by one of the American Idol contestants, Chris Medina.
In this video we can see that he helps a lady who is wheel chair bound. That lady is his love of his life for 8 years and on going. The lady met into an accident 2 months before their wedding in 2009, which caused her to be in a coma and sustain tragic brain injury. Imparing her movement.
But relentlessly he stood by her all the time. Not to leave her for another.
How many of us would do so. Everyday we hear couples break up because of the smallest arguement. Things so small compared to Chris Medina's life.
The line "What are words if you don't really mean them, when you say them", tells us one important value, that when we speak, speak the truth. Speak what you feel truely from beneath. It may be crude, it may be good, but it's the truth that someone always expects. Saying nice things brings momentarily happiness. But saying the truth, brings an eternity of peace.
The line "What are words if they are only for good times". How many times have we spoken, when something goes bad? How many times were we there for our loved ones when they had their bad times. It's always easy to speak during times of joy. But the most needed time is in sorrow. During sorrow, the words that you speak, will bring comfort to the saddened.
So your words really play a part. Even when you are gone, a small recording of yourself, could really keep your loved one alive. That voice. That tone. It will never fade off your memory. It will always linger around, to remind you of your loved one. It keeps you alive.
So be there for your loved one. When you get into a relationship. Make it last. Don't do it for lust. There used to be a primary principle. 1 man for 1 woman. It changes today. But ultimately we were designed for only 1.
There'd be only 1 mother who loves you. 1 dad who cares for you.
And same goes, 1 partner for you till the end.
So keep your angel close. You're the most he/she needs.

Amen to that! We should encourage not only ourselves, but our familiy members to talk to each other. Odd as it might sound, I notice that many Singapore families don't really have a lot of family time together, like as if you were in the family just by association of blood ties. No! We must make a conscious effort to talk to each other, and to cherish each other in both good and bad times! :)

Niceee!:) I like this song! It's really important to mean what you say and say what you mean. Your actions will reflect your true intent.
